Ali Melad Mohamed Ben Younes
Born in Zleetin, he earned a Master’s in International Relations in 2011 and joined the Prime Minister’s Office soon after, quickly advancing through leadership roles. He advised the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office in 2021–2022 before serving as State Minister for Wounded Affairs, where he championed rehabilitation and social reintegration. A former presidential candidate, he is now vying for the role of Prime Minister in Libya’s proposed unity government, committed to reconciliation, institutional reform and sustainable opportunity.

Ali Mohamed Mohamed Sassi
Born in Misurata in 1966, Ali Mohamed Mohamed Sassi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Garyounis University (1990). With over 33 years of experience, he has held key leadership roles including Executive Director and Board Member of the General Electricity Company since 2016. Ali has extensive expertise in electrical distribution, project management, and consultancy, and has completed advanced training in Ireland, Egypt, and Malta. He also chairs and serves on several boards in the energy sector, representing Libya in numerous regional and international forums.

Mohammed Ali Aboulqasim Aldib
Mohammed Ali Aboulqasim Aldib, born in 1977 in Al-Jameel, is a seasoned legal and economic professional with over 19 years of experience in the economic sector. He holds a Higher Diploma in Law, earned in 2001.
Throughout his career, Mr. Aldib has held several senior positions, demonstrating a strong track record in both legal advisory and economic development. From 2015 to 2016, he served as Legal Affairs Advisor to the Minister of Local Governance, offering strategic counsel on legal matters relevant to local administration.
Currently, Mr. Aldib is the Director General of the Export Development Center under the Ministry of Economy and Trade, where he plays a pivotal role in enhancing national export strategies and promoting international trade partnerships.

Saleh Ali
Born in Misrata in 1959, he is a veteran security professional with a Bachelor of Laws degree and over 40 years of experience in internal security and law enforcement.
Since 1983, he has held numerous leadership positions within the Ministry of Interior, heading various security committees and managing multiple police stations and departments. His extensive expertise and dedicated leadership have significantly contributed to the advancement of Libya’s internal security framework.
In 2012, he was appointed Head of the Supreme Security Committee, Misrata Branch, followed by his role as Director of the Misrata Security Directorate in 2013. In 2015, he served as Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security Affairs, playing a key role in national security policy and coordination.
He has also actively participated in many international and local conferences and seminars, demonstrating a commitment to improving security practices and fostering cooperation.

Afaf Suleiman Algablawe
Born in Tripoli in 1962, She is a distinguished political analyst and media professional with a Master’s Degree in Political Science. With a career spanning over three decades, she has made significant contributions to journalism, diplomacy, and political advisory work.
From 1992 to 2015, she served as a journalist and Bureau Chief for Agence France-Presse (AFP) in Libya, covering critical political and economic developments in the region. In 2009, she founded Eqtesadi Magazine, where she also served as General Manager until 2011, helping shape Libya’s economic media landscape.
Between 2015 and 2019, she served as an Advisor at the Libyan Embassy in Paris, actively engaging in diplomatic affairs. Most recently, from 2022 to 2024, she served as an Advisor to the High Council of State, playing a key role in supporting national political dialogue and policy development.

Al-Fetouri Ahmed Omar Salmah
Born in Sebha in 1978, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, earned in 2001. With a strong background in both public administration and development, he has dedicated his career to advancing regional investment and agricultural projects.
In 2003, he began serving as Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Popular Committee in Sebha, as well as Director of the Secretary’s Office. He also contributed as a Board Member of the Agricultural Projects Investment Authority. Between 2004 and 2005, he took leadership roles as Director of the Agricultural League Project and Director at the Palm and Olive Development Agency.
He is a valued member of the Experts Committee of the Presidential Council, where he offers strategic advice on development initiatives. Most recently, in 2025, he was appointed General Manager of the Sebha Company for Development and Investment.
Beyond his professional roles, he is active in volunteer work and is a founding member of numerous civil society organizations, reflecting his commitment to community development and social progress.

Abdelbast ALHMRI
Assistant Professor, University of Omar Almukhtar | Legal Consultant
Born in Albayda, Libya, in 1973, Abdelbast ALHMRI holds a PhD in International Law from the University of Clermont-Auvergne, France, where he graduated with highest honors. With extensive experience in academia and legal consultancy, he serves as Assistant Professor at the University of Omar Almukhtar and Chief Consultant to the Libyan Minister of Justice. Abdelbast is an expert in international law, anti-money laundering, and counter-terrorism financing, representing Libya in multiple international forums. He has published significant research on state responsibility, transitional justice, and international legal reform.
